At Boughton Monchelsea Primary School, the safety of your children is our first priority and this applies equally to their experiences when using the internet as in the real world. Our children are growing up in exciting times, as the digital revolution has changed the way we communicate, learn and play. However it can often be difficult to know how to help children navigate a safe pathway through the online world; to protect them without overblocking content and to help them make sensible choices when using the internet.
All parents and pupils are asked to sign up to our Online Safety Agreement. Parents of younger pupils are requested to talk through the requirements with their children.

Each month we will be sending out an online safety newsletter, published in partnership with Knowsley City Learning Centres. We hope that this will be a useful way for parents to learn about the latest trends in young people's internet use and to hear how you can support your children to stay safe online.
